Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tally, operated by DHS Labs("we", "us"). By using Tally, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service
Tally turns the conversations you have at events into clean, structured notes from voice notes, business cards, event badges, and QR codes. Tally is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. Features may change, and we may introduce paid plans in the future.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it. Let us know promptly at dhslabadm@gmail.com if you notice any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Tally lawfully and responsibly. In particular:
- Only capture information you have the right to capture. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before recording or storing personal data about other people.
- Don't use Tally to break the law, infringe others' rights, or capture content you are not allowed to.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service or its infrastructure.
4. Your content
You own the notes and content you create with Tally. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't sell it.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. By using Tally you also agree to that policy.
6. Availability and changes
Tally is in early access and provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don't guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tally is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You can stop using Tally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service or other users.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
